Drug Formulation
2 pairs of pig’s trotters (prepared as for eating), 1 dou of white glutinous rice (washed thoroughly); combine the two ingredients with 5 dou of water and simmer until the trotters are tender; strain to obtain 3 dou of clear broth, which is then used to boil the following herbs: 5 liang of Poria cocos, 5 liang of Phytolacca acinosa, 1 liang of Asarum sieboldii, 2 liang of Angelica dahurica, and 2 liang of Ligusticum chuanxiong.

Processing
Coarsely crush the ingredients listed above; combine them with 3 dou of the decoction from the previous formula and 1 sheng of ground peach kernels, then boil together. Reduce to 1 dou 5 sheng, strain out the residue. Store in a porcelain jar; add 1 ren each of ground Gan Song and Linglingxiang to the ointment, stir until uniform, and cover with cotton cloth.

Instructions for Use
Apply to the face and hands every night.
