Drug Formulation

3 fen of Areca nut, 3 fen of Chebulic myrobalan (roasted, pitted),3 fen of white mulberry bark, 3 fen of Magnolia officinalis (coarse bark removed, processed with ginger, stir-fried), 3 fen of ginseng (root tip removed), 1 liang of aged tangerine peel (white pith removed), 1 liang of Perilla frutescens leaves, half a liang of cardamom (roasted), half a liang of Schisandra chinensis (stems removed), half a liang of Poria cocos (white variety, skin removed), half a liang of licorice (roasted), and half a liang of Platycodon grandiflorus (stir-fried).

Instructions for Use

Take 4 qian per dose; add 1.5 zhan of water, 3 slices of fresh ginger, and 1 zi of salt; decoct until reduced to 8 fen; strain and take while warm, at any time.
