Drug Formulation

Sanleng (stir-fried with vinegar) 1 qian, E Zhu (stir-fried with vinegar) 1 qian, Qingpi (pith removed) 1 qian, Chenpi 1 qian, Mu Xiang 1 qian, Huanglian (soaked in ginger juice and stir-fried) 1 qian,Chuanlian pulp 2 qian, areca nut 2 qian, Shenqu (roasted) 3 qian, barley malt (roasted) 3 qian, amomum 3 qian, Shijunzi pulp 5 qian, Hu Huanglian 5 qian, Atractylodes macrocephala (roasted) 6 qian, Gentiana root 6 fen, hawthorn pulp 2 liang, dried toads 5.

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder. Mix thoroughly with 5 jin of roasted wheat flour and 2 jin of brown sugar, along with the aforementioned medicinal ingredients. Press the mixture into cakes using a mold, each weighing approximately 1 qian.
