Drug Formulation

1.5 qian of musk, 5 qian of rhubarb (raw), half a liang of black pharbitis root, 2 qian of glycyrrhiza, half a liang of alisma, and 2 qian of cyperus.

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder.

Instructions for Use

Take 1 qian per dose, mixed with half a zhan of white camphor willow root juice and half a zhan of ash-free wine. Take the powdered mixture hot on an empty stomach. Those aged 60 or older and those under 15 should take only half a dose. The treatment is effective when harmful substances are expelled in the stool.

Note

For three days after taking this medicine, avoid fishy foods, salt, soy sauce, and damp noodles that cause gas.
