Processing

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder, mix thoroughly with well water, and place in a copper pot (avoid iron or tin utensils). Simmer over a charcoal fire, using a bundle of three peach and three willow twigs tied together to stir the mixture until golden specks appear.Once roasted, use several fresh bamboo tubes (do not use dry bamboo or bamboo with heavy sap), ensuring they have nodes at both ends. While the mixture is still hot, fill the tubes with the medicine, seal the openings tightly, and place them on a stone floor in a damp, shaded, secluded spot for seven days and seven nights to absorb yin energy. Afterward, remove them, grind them into an extremely fine powder using a mortar and pestle, and store the powder in a porcelain jar, ensuring it is protected from drafts.

Benefits

For the seventy-two types of shā syndrome characterized by abdominal pain and bodily distension.

Instructions for Use

Apply this to the eyes: for mild cases, apply it to the outer corners of both eyes; if the upper eyelid becomes painful upon application, it is a shā syndrome, and the abdominal pain and bloating will subside on their own, leading to recovery. If there is no pain upon application, it is not a shā syndrome, and alternative treatments may be used. For severe cases, apply several times until the eyes no longer feel pain.

Note

Do not ingest under any circumstances.
