Drug Formulation

Green tangerine peel (pulp removed) 5 qian, aged tangerine peel 5 qian, hawthorn pulp 5 qian, Shenqu (roasted) 5 qian, barley malt (roasted) 5 qian, amomum (roasted) 4 qian, white atractylodes (root and rhizome removed) 6 qian, Acorus tatarinowii (baked) 5 qian,Curcuma zedoaria (baked) 5 qian, Wood Fragrance 5 qian, Areca nut 4 qian, Licorice (roasted) 4 qian, Fennel (roasted) 3 qian, Schisandra (shelled) 2 liang,Sichuan Melia Fruit (steamed with wine, pitted) 3 qian, Cardamom (baked) 4 qian, Chebulic Myrobalan (pitted) 4 qian, Night-Bright Sand (roasted) 3 qian (ground separately), 1 large dried toad, Sichuan Coptis (hairs removed, cleaned) 6 qian (soaked in clean water; use the liquid to mix with the powdered herbs).

Processing

Roast the above ingredients until dry, then grind into a fine powder. Take 6 jin of high-quality fine white flour and lightly roast until golden. Dissolve 10 liang of granulated sugar in water, then mix with the powdered herbs until well combined. Shape into cakes, each weighing 1 qian.
