Grind the ingredients into a fine powder and divide into two doses.

Benefits

If a woman has not menstruated for two or three months and suspects she may be pregnant, or suspects blood stasis, accompanied by restlessness, alternating chills and fever, and a dazed state,

Instructions for Use

Mix the powder with one zhan of strongly decocted mugwort tea, or with good wine if preferred. Within 2–3 shichen, if a slight movement is felt around the navel accompanied by continued restlessness, it indicates a pregnancy; once the movement ceases, the symptoms will subside, and the pregnancy will be safe and uneventful. If it is not a pregnancy, there will be no movement, and the stagnant pathogenic matter will expel on its own, leaving the mother unharmed. If no effect is felt after taking the medicine, prepare a decoction of safflower and mix it with the powder to take.
