Chinese Name : 黄芩散

Drug Formulation

1.5 liang of Scutellaria baicalensis (chopped), 1.5 liang of Astragalus membranaceus (chopped), 1.5 liang of Akebia trifoliata (chopped), 1.5 liang of Peucedanum praeruptorum (root tip removed), 1.5 liang of Cimicifuga foetida, 2 liang of Trichosanthes kirilowii root, 1 liang of Paeonia rubra,1 liang of red Poria, 1 liang of licorice (raw, coarsely chopped), 2 liang of Sichuan rhubarb (coarsely chopped, lightly roasted), half a liang of ginseng (root tip removed), and half a liang of angelica.

Grind the ingredients into a powder.

Instructions for Use

Take 4 qian per dose. Use 1 medium bowl of water, add 2–7 bamboo leaves, 100 wheat grains, and 1 fen of raw Rehmannia root. Decoct until reduced to 6 fen, strain, and take while warm, regardless of the time of day.
