Drug Formulation

3 qian of mulberry bark, 3 qian of Chinese schizonepeta, 2.5 qian of realgar (ground), 2.5 qian of borax (ground), 2 qian of tribulus, 2 qian of Chinese angelica, 2 qian of realgar (ground), 2 qian of cardamom, 2 qian of pangolin scale (roasted), 1.5 fen of mercury oxide (ground), and 1 fen of sea sand.

Processing

Except for the ground ingredients, sort and clean the remaining ingredients, grind them into a fine powder, and mix thoroughly with the ground ingredients.

Instructions for Use

Separately, peel a single clove of garlic, grind it into a paste, mix with vinegar to form a thin paste, and blend with the medicine to make a salve. Shape it to the size of the mass, spread it on paper, and apply it to the affected area. Cover with a fresh piece of cotton and secure tightly with three strips of cloth. Leave it on for 1–2 hours; it is normal to feel some pain, but remove it only when the scent of garlic is detectable in the mouth and nose.
