Drug Formulation

2 large Chuanxiong roots (chopped into 4 pieces), 1 large Aconite root (raw, with skin, ground into a powder).

Processing

Mix the Aconite powder with water to form a dough-like consistency, then wrap the Chuanxiong slices in it, dividing the mixture into four portions. If the Aconite powder is insufficient, add a small amount of flour to complete the wrapping. Use a needle to pierce several holes; fumigate the pierced areas with genuine musk, insert the incense, and then pinch the holes closed. If the scent is not detectable inside, fumigate again with one stick of incense. Sift the ash through a fine sieve; use a ladle to scoop hot ash and roast the powder until fully processed.
