Chinese Name : 桑根皮散
Drug Formulation
1 liang of mulberry root bark (chopped and stir-fried), 1 liang of apricot kernels (with skin and tips removed, double kernels, stir-fried), 1 liang of aged tangerine peel (soaked in hot water to remove the white pith), 1 liang of Euphorbia (roasted until slightly yellow), 1 liang of Alisma, 2 liang of red Poria, half a liang of Scutellaria, and 1 sheng of red adzuki beans (simmered in 5 sheng of water until reduced to 2 sheng).

Grind the above ingredients into a powder.

Instructions for Use
Take 3 qian per dose; add 1 medium bowl of adzuki bean juice, decoct until reduced to 6 fen, strain out the residue, and take while warm at the beginning of the fifth watch. If bowel movements occur after walking 10 li, the treatment is effective; if not, take another dose.
