Drug Formulation
3 liang of raw Rehmannia glutinosa, 2 liang of ginger (grind together with Rehmannia, then strain through a cloth to extract the juice), half a jin of raw Asparagus cochinchinensis, 1 jin of raw Ophiopogon japonicus, 3 liang of raw apricot kernels (ground and mixed in), 2 liang of Perilla frutescens seeds (roasted and ground), 4 liang of raw Arctium lappa, and 1 jin of raw Scrophularia ningpoensis.

Processing
Wash the above 8 ingredients thoroughly, chop them coarsely, and grind them together until they form a paste. Add the perilla seeds and apricot kernels to the rehmannia juice, then filter again through a fine sieve to extract the juice and remove the residue. Place the mixture in a silver or stone container, add 5 liang and a half of refined honey and 2 liang of pure ghee, and place it on top of a steamer used for cooking rice. Steam for the duration of one rice-cooking cycle, then transfer to a clean container.

Instructions for Use
Take 1 teaspoonful and swallow it; there is no specific time restriction.
Note
Avoid raw and cold foods, as well as pork.
