Drug Formulation

40 pieces of Pinellia (soaked in boiling water 7 times), 40 seeds of Croton tiglium (with skin and inner membrane removed), 40 almonds (with skin, tips, and double kernels removed), 40 pieces of Soapberry (with skin removed) (soak these 4 ingredients in good vinegar for 7 days, then remove; strain the liquid through a cloth, boil it down to a paste, and mix in with the other ingredients), 5 qian of Calcined Gypsum (finely ground and stir-fried),Cloves 2 qian, Frankincense 2 qian, Agarwood 2 qian, Areca Nut half liang, Talcum 1 fen, Realgar 1 fen, Borax 1 fen.

Processing

Of the above 12 ingredients, grind the last 8 into a fine powder, mix them into the paste prepared earlier, and pound them together again until finely ground and evenly blended. Form into pills the size of small beans.

Adjust the dosage according to whether the condition is deficient or excess; take 2 pills per dose, washed down with decocted jujube tea. Alternatively, chew dried persimmons thoroughly and swallow them dry.
