Drug Formulation

Aconite (chopped into chunks, stir-fried with clam powder) 4 liang, red chili peppers (with seeds and closed pods removed) 4 liang, broken paperbark (stir-fried) 4 liang,imported anise (roasted), Chinese yam 4 liang, Sichuan melia fruit (pulp only) 3 liang, dodder seed 2 liang (soaked in wine and steamed; grind separately and add to the mixture), fenugreek (soaked in wine) 1.5 liang, morinda root (soaked in wine) 1.5 liang, achyranthes root (stems removed, soaked in wine) 1 liang, aconite root (roasted, peel and pith removed) 1 liang.
