Drug Formulation

1 sheng of raw rehmannia juice, 1 sheng of Artemisia annua, 1 he of ginger juice, 3 sheng of children’s urine, 1 liang of Achyranthes root (stems removed), 4 liang of raw dried rehmannia,3 liang of peach kernels (remove skin and tips; grind into a paste; combine these 6 ingredients with the previous herbs in a stone pot, simmer over low heat until thoroughly softened; grind and strain to extract the juice; remove the residue; add half a he of honey; simmer further until it becomes a paste), 1 liang of Qin Jiao (remove stems),Bupleurum root 1 liang (stems removed), Sichuan rhubarb 1 liang (coarsely chopped, lightly roasted), softshell turtle shell 2 liang (coated with vinegar, roasted until slightly yellow, edges removed), red Poria 3 fen, Coptis rhizome 3 fen, rhinoceros horn shavings 3 fen, Anemarrhena rhizome 3 fen,3 fen of Zhi Ke (stir-fried with wheat bran until slightly yellow, seeds removed), 3 fen of Long Dan (stem removed), 3 fen of Mu Xiang, 3 fen of Huang Qin, 3 fen of Di Gu Pi, 3 fen of Jie Geng (stem removed), 3 fen of Sang Gen Bai Pi (chopped), 3 fen of Chi Shao Yao, 3 fen of Dang Gui, and half a liang of Musk (finely ground).

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder, add the musk, and grind until evenly mixed. Use the ointment described earlier to bind the mixture and pound it into pills the size of a Paulownia seed.
