Drug Formulation

1 set of white sheep’s head and hooves (charred over a grass fire until yellow, then scraped clean of soot), half a liang of black pepper, half a liang of long pepper, half a liang of dried ginger, half a sheng of chopped scallion whites, and half a sheng of fermented soybeans.

Instructions for Use

Boil the head and hooves in water until half-cooked, then add the herbs and continue boiling until tender. Remove the bones. Eat on an empty stomach as desired, consuming one set per day; stop after seven sets.

Note

Avoid raw, cold, vinegary, or slippery foods, as well as pungent spices, stale or foul-smelling foods, pork, and chicken for 7 days.
