Chinese Name : 赤霜散

Drug Formulation

1 red date (pitted), 1 grain of red arsenic (the size of a soybean).

Processing

Remove the pit from the red date, insert the red arsenic, seal it tightly, and place it on charcoal on a tile; continue until the smoke has completely dissipated. Let it cool thoroughly, then grind into a fine powder. Add 1 fen of borneol and grind again.

Treats “running horse’s teeth” (a type of stomatitis), swelling extending to the cheeks, and life-threatening conditions.

Instructions for Use

Blow the powder into the affected area. It also promotes rapid tissue regeneration in chronic, festering sores.
