Drug Formulation

One placenta from a first-time male birth (first scrape off the blood with a bamboo knife, wash thoroughly with fresh well water, dry over a fire; then use 8 liang of licorice and 5 qian of ginseng to boil 3 bowls of water over low heat until reduced to 1 bowl; place the placenta in a porcelain container and let it dry; immediately seal the container, coat the exterior with yellow clay, and calcine over charcoal until red-hot; let cool and harden, then remove—it should be the color of black gold paper—and store.Use 1 qian per dose), cinnabar 4 qian, pearl 2 qian, large borneol 1 fen, genuine amber 2 qian, and calcined milkstone 3 fen.

Grind each of the above herbs into a fine powder, then mix thoroughly. Form into pills the size of mung beans using cooled rice.

Instructions for Use

Take 3 fen per dose, washed down with a decoction of 4 liang of Smilax glabra.After one month of treatment, the nose will have regrown to its original state; however, it is essential to first carve a neat, slender wooden model of the nose. Melt yellow wax and pour it over the wooden nose. Once it has dried slightly, remove the wax nose, gently melt it over a flame, and attach it to the affected area. After one month of completing the medication, the nose will regenerate on its own. If the penis has rotted away, follow the same procedure.
