Drug Formulation

2.5 liang of wheat bran, 1 liang of Pinellia (washed 7 times in boiling water to remove slipperiness, then chopped), 0.5 liang of ground agarwood, and 1 liang of ginger (used with the skin, finely sliced).

Processing

Add 2 bowls of medicinal water to the ingredients, bring to a boil with the ginger for 2–3 boils, strain through raw silk to remove the dregs, collect the clear liquid, and stir in a small amount of dragon’s blood and musk until well blended.
