Drug Formulation

1 liang of Rosa rugosa root bark, 3 fen of Cimicifuga, half a liang of raw Rehmannia glutinosa, half a liang of Phellodendron bark, and 1 qian of lead white frost (ground).

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a powder, then mix in the ground lead white frost until uniform.

Instructions for Use

Take 2 qian per dose, add 1 zhan of water and half a spoon of honey, and simmer until reduced to 7 fen. When it is just warm enough to tolerate, use it to rinse and gargle the throat while hot; spit it out once it cools. Immediately apply the powdered mixture to the sores.
