Processing

Except for Han Sanqi, Xiangfu, Licorice, Poria, Cinnamon Bark, Amomum, and Asarum—which are coarsely ground and spread in a trough—the remaining herbs are steamed thoroughly with 48 liang of rice wine, sun-dried, ground into a fine powder, mixed with refined honey to form pills weighing 4 qian each, coated with cinnabar, and sealed with wax paper.
