Ephedra 4 qian, Rhubarb 4 qian, Oyster Shell 4 qian, Scutellaria 4 qian, Cold Water Stone 8 qian, White Ocher 8 qian, Red Ocher 8 qian, Gypsum 8 qian, Purple Quartz 8 qian, Talc 8 qian, Ginseng 2 qian, Cinnamon Twig 2 qian, Dragon’s Tooth 2 qian, Licorice 3 qian, Snake Shed Skin 1 qian.

Grind the ingredients into a coarse powder.

For pediatric shanghan (typhoid fever) where wind-heat arises, causing convulsions and loss of consciousness with spasms in the hands and feet.

Instructions for Use

Take 4 qian per dose; add 1.5 zhan of water, decoct until reduced to 7 fen, and divide into two doses to be taken warm; for cases with severe fever, take three doses. It is especially effective to decoct the mixture using equal parts water and bamboo sap.
