Drug Formulation
1,600 liang of softshell turtle shell, 240 liang of donkey-hide gelatin, 80 liang of rock sugar, 48 liang of yellow wine, and 24 liang of sesame oil.

Processing
First, soak the softshell turtle shell for 7 days; rinse thoroughly with clean water, then remove and place in a pot to boil. Combine with the above ingredients and simmer until concentrated into a gel. Pour into a trough to cool; once solidified, remove from the trough and cut into small rectangular pieces—approximately 110 pieces per jin of dry weight.For each batch, use 100 jin of softshell turtle shell decoction. Add 24 liang of white alum, calculated as follows: 4 liang for the first decoction, 4 liang for the second, 3 liang for the third, 2 liang for the fourth, 5 liang for the fine residue, 4 liang for the scum, and 2 liang for the sediment at the bottom of the vat.

Instructions for Use
Take 2–3 qian per dose, simmered in rice wine until dissolved, or taken with plain water.
