Drug Formulation
Scrophularia root, Ophiopogon tuber, raw Rehmannia root, licorice (raw), Anemarrhena rhizome, puffball mushroom, rhubarb, rhinoceros horn, wind-dissolving powder, and northern glehnia root.

Benefits
Epidemic sore throat. Caused by intense internal heat that has already depleted body fluids, leading to ulceration of the throat, a burning sensation, a rash with redness, delirium and restlessness, a dry tongue that is crimson or black, a rapid pulse, constipation, and convulsions.
Instructions for Use
Decoct the above ingredients in 3 zhong of water until reduced to 8 fen; mix with 1 zhong of a child’s urine and take while warm. If the patient’s consciousness is clouded, immediately administer one Wan’s Calamus and Calamus-Clearing-Heart Pill, washed down with a decoction of Bamboo Leaves and Lampwick.
