Drug Formulation

Half a liang of dried tiger tongue (pounded into a fine powder using a stone mortar and pestle), 3 qian of raw Aconite root tips (powdered),half liang of magnetite (select a dense variety; grind into a fine powder using a stone mortar and pestle), 3 qian of mercury (grind finely together with the magnetite powder until all mercury specks disappear), 1 qian of sulfur (imported variety), 2 qian of sodium carbonate (grind together with the sulfur), 2 qian of paper mulberry seeds (powdered),realgar (transparent) 2 qian (ground), cinnabar 1 qian (ground), and gold tooth half a liang (ground into a fine powder using a stone mortar and pestle).

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into an extremely fine powder and form into pills the size of millet grains using naphtha.

Instructions for Use

Store in a box with pointed ends. For each arrowhead to be removed, use one pill. Using a copper chopstick, gently insert the pill into the arrow wound through the opening, then rub a small amount of fine wine around the edges of the wound. Next, rub the wound with the red powder; shortly thereafter, the wound will feel extremely hot and itchy, and the arrowhead will emerge on its own that same day.Next, apply Jinhua Powder for Tissue Regeneration to the wound and seal it with Zijing Ointment.
