Instructions for Use

In clinical practice, when there is a large amount of necrotic tissue that is difficult to remove, use Tissue-Regenerating Powder No. 1 or No. 2, which have strong necrotic-removing and detoxifying effects. When the necrotic tissue has gradually been cleared, switch to Tissue-Regenerating Powder No. 3; once the necrotic tissue has been largely removed, use Tissue-Regenerating Powder No. 4. If the granulation tissue is healthy and epithelium is growing inward from the edges of the wound, use Tissue-Regenerating Powder No. 5.Generally, for shallow, flat wounds, when changing dressings, first remove the dressing and clean the area around the wound with dry, non-waxy cotton (do not use alcohol swabs), then use cotton to absorb any secretions.Examine the wound. If there is a significant amount of necrotic tissue inside the wound that is difficult to remove, sprinkle Tissue-Regenerating Powder No. 1 or No. 2 over it (do not use too much; a thin layer covering the wound surface is sufficient), then cover it with gauze coated with Yuhong Ointment and secure it with adhesive tape. The area covered with Yuhong Ointment should not be too large—just slightly larger than the wound itself—and it should not be applied too thickly.Change the dressing every 1–3 days. Once most of the necrotic tissue has been cleared, switch to Tissue-Regenerating Powder No. 3, still covered with Yuhong Ointment. When all necrotic tissue has been completely removed, switch to Tissue-Regenerating Powder No. 4. When granulation tissue has clearly formed, switch to Tissue-Regenerating Powder No. 5, covered with Xiangpi Plaster. For deep wounds—particularly those that are small but deep—after removing the dressing, clean the area around the wound with non-woven cotton. Then, use a probe wrapped in a small amount of cotton to wipe away secretions from the depths of the wound (when inserting and removing the probe, maintain a consistent twisting motion in one direction). Finally, place a piece of cotton of appropriate size over the wound, sprinkle Tissue-Regenerating Powder No. 4 onto the cotton, and use the probe to twist and advance it into the wound (ensuring the cotton is wrapped around the probe, with the Tissue-Regenerating Powder No. 4 in the center of the cotton, and that the probe delivers the cotton to the deepest part of the wound). When removing the probe, twist it in the opposite direction; the cotton will have formed a medicated twist and will detach from the probe. Gently withdraw the probe, leaving the cotton twist inside the wound, and securely bandage the exterior with Yuhong Ointment. The application of the Tissue-Regenerating Powder is determined by the amount of necrotic tissue in the wound, the size of the wound opening, and whether drainage is unobstructed. If there is a large amount of necrotic tissue, a small wound opening, or poor drainage, use No. 1 or No. 2; conversely, use No. 3 or No. 4. If healthy granulation tissue has already formed and the wound has leveled out, No. 5 may be used.
