Drug Formulation

Ophiopogon tuber 12 fen (core removed), Sophora root 8 fen, Trichosanthes fruit 8 fen, Anemarrhena rhizome 8 fen, Poria sclerotium 8 fen, Tugua root 8 fen, Licorice root 6 fen (roasted), Ginseng 6 fen (one formula includes Coptis rhizome 12 fen).

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder, mix with refined honey to form pills the size of a paulownia seed.

Instructions for Use

Take 20 pills per dose; shortly after a meal, take them with a decoction of reed root and barley, twice daily. Gradually increase the dose to 30 pills.

Note

Avoid seaweed, Chinese cabbage, pork, and strong vinegar.
