Chinese Name : 鹿肉汤

Drug Formulation

4 jin of venison, 3 liang of dried rehmannia root, 3 liang of licorice, 3 liang of ligusticum root, 2 liang of ginseng, 2 liang of angelica root, 2 liang of astragalus root, 2 liang of peony root, 2 liang of ophiopogon tuber, 2 liang of poria, 1 sheng of pinellia, 20 jujubes, and 2 liang of fresh ginger.

Instructions for Use

Coarsely chop the ingredients. Boil the meat in 2 dou 5 sheng of water until reduced to 1 dou 3 sheng; remove the meat and add the herbs. Simmer until reduced to 5 sheng, strain out the residue, and divide into 4 doses: 3 during the day and 1 at night.
