Drug Formulation

4 liang of Daizhashi, 4 liang of Zuogu Oyster Shell (remove both ends; use only the middle section), 4 liang of Purple Quartz, 4 liang of Red Ocher (grind all the above ingredients into a fine powder; mix with rice vinegar to form a paste; divide evenly into 6 portions; place in a glazed pot and roast until completely red-hot; remove after half a shichen; allow to cool; then pound into a fine powder and set aside); 2 liang of Frankincense (ground separately),Fennel (lightly roasted) 2 liang, Wulingzhi (with sand and stones removed) 2 liang, Dried Ginger 2 liang (roasted).

Processing

Grind the four ingredients listed below Frankincense into a fine powder, mix thoroughly with the previous four powdered ingredients, and form into pills the size of a Paulownia seed using glutinous rice paste cooked in vinegar.
