Commentary
Taking bee pollen (Hua-fen) as the chief herb, the formula draws on its sweet flavor and neutral property: it channels into the Spleen, Lung meridians and works to tonify qi and nourish. Prunella vulgaris (Xia-ku-cao) join as the supporting deputy.
