Rehmannia

Rehmannia, a name in traditional Chinese medicine, refers to the fresh or dried tuberous roots of Rehmannia glutinosa Libosch., a plant in the Scrophulariaceae family. It is primarily produced in Henan. It is harvested in the fall; the crown, fibrous roots, and soil are removed for fresh use, or the tuberous roots are slowly dried until about 80% dry. The former is commonly known as “fresh Rehmannia,” and the latter as “raw Rehmannia.”Fresh Rehmannia has the effects of clearing heat, generating body fluids, cooling the blood, and stopping bleeding. It is primarily used to treat heat-related yin deficiency, a crimson tongue with restlessness and thirst, rashes caused by warm toxins, hemoptysis and epistaxis, and swelling and pain in the throat;Raw Rehmannia has the effects of clearing heat, cooling the blood, nourishing yin, and promoting fluid production. It is primarily used to treat heat invading the营血 (ying-blood), rashes caused by warm toxins, hemoptysis and epistaxis, yin depletion due to febrile diseases, a crimson tongue with intense thirst, constipation due to fluid depletion, fever due to yin deficiency, bone-consumptive fever, and internal heat-induced diabetes.

Camel Meat

Camel meat, a name in traditional Chinese medicine. It is the meat of the Bactrian camel (Camelus bactrianus ferus Przewalski), an animal of the Camelidae family. It is distributed in southeastern Xinjiang, Gansu, Qinghai, and Inner Mongolia.Wild camels are extremely rare and are classified as a globally rare and precious species; hunting them is strictly prohibited. It has the effects of tonifying qi and blood, strengthening tendons and bones, and moisturizing the skin. It is commonly used to treat chronic debility from prolonged illness, stubborn numbness and paralysis, and dull complexion.

Jicama

Jiaoshu is a name used in traditional Chinese medicine. It refers to the tuberous root of Pachyrhizus erosus (L.) Urban, a plant in the genus Pachyrhizus of the Fabaceae family. It has the effects of clearing lung heat, promoting fluid production, promoting urination, stimulating lactation, and alleviating alcohol toxicity. It is primarily used to treat coughs caused by lung heat, lung abscesses, heatstroke with restlessness and thirst, diabetes insipidus, insufficient lactation, and difficulty urinating.

Heishun Pian

Heishun Slices, also known as Black Aconite, are a type of Aconite used in traditional Chinese medicine. They are the lateral roots of Aconitum carmichaelii Debx. (a plant in the Ranunculaceae family), processed through cleaning, boiling in a bile-based solution, rinsing with water, slicing, and steaming.This product is primarily produced in Sichuan. It has the effects of restoring yang to reverse collapse, tonifying fire to assist yang, and dispelling cold to relieve pain. It is commonly used to treat conditions such as cold limbs and a faint pulse due to yang collapse and deficiency; chest pain (xianbi) caused by insufficient heart yang; impotence and uterine cold due to kidney yang deficiency; vomiting and diarrhea caused by deficiency-cold; cold pain in the epigastrium and abdomen; cold-damp edema; yang deficiency with external pathogenic factors; and cold-damp arthralgia.
