Myrtle

Rhodomyrtus, a name in traditional Chinese medicine. It refers to the fruit of Rhodomyrtus mentosa (Ait.) Hassk., a plant in the Myrtaceae family.It is distributed in Fujian, Taiwan, Hunan, Guangdong, Hainan, Guangxi, Guizhou, Yunnan, and other regions. It has the effects of nourishing the blood and stopping bleeding, as well as astringing the intestines and consolidating the menstrual cycle. It is used for blood deficiency and physical weakness, hemoptysis, epistaxis, hemoptysis due to overwork, hematochezia, metrorrhagia and menorrhagia, nocturnal emission, leukorrhea, dysentery, rectal prolapse, burns, and bleeding from external injuries.

August Melon

August Melon is the name of a traditional Chinese medicine. It refers to the fruits of the plants Holboellia fargesii Reab. [Stauntonia longipes Hemsl.], Holboellia latifolia Wall., and Holboellia parviflora (Hemsl.) Gagnep. [Stauntornia parviflora Hemsl.]—all belonging to the genus Holboellia in the family Lardizabalaceae.It has the effects of clearing heat, draining dampness, regulating qi, and promoting blood circulation. It is primarily used to treat scanty and reddish urine, dysuria with turbid discharge, edema, rheumatic arthralgia, trauma, insufficient lactation, hernia pain, and testicular inflammation.

Koelreuteria biinnata, a traditional Chinese medicine. It refers to the roots, root bark, or flowers of Koelreuteria biinnata Franch., a plant in the Sapindaceae family. It is distributed in Guangdong, Guangxi, Jiangxi, Hunan, Zhejiang, Hubei, Sichuan, Guizhou, Yunnan, and other regions. It has the effects of dispelling wind and clearing heat, relieving coughs, and killing parasites. It is used to treat wind-heat coughs and ascariasis.
