1 dou 5 sheng of lime, 4 dou of moist mulberry bark, and 4 dou of oak ash.

Instructions for Use
Moisten the ingredients thoroughly with boiling water until they are thoroughly saturated, then place them in a steamer and steam from dawn until noon. Next, take 7 dou of boiling water from the cauldron and pour it over the contents of the steamer three times. Strain the mixture, pour it into a copper vessel, and simmer until nightfall. Measure out the remaining 5 dou of liquid,simmer slowly over low heat until 1 dou remains. Wash a clump of tangled hair in this liquid, dry it until it is the size of a chicken egg, and place it in the decoction—it will dissolve completely. Next, take a piece of multicolored silk cut to the size of a leek leaf (5 cun in length) and place it in the decoction—it will also dissolve completely. Continue simmering until the mixture is no longer too thick; the medicine is then ready. Store it in a white porcelain jar. For external application
