Processing

Wash the hair thoroughly with soapy water to remove oil and impurities, then rinse with warm water to remove the soap residue, and bake until dry. Depending on the amount of hair, take one new earthenware jar, fill it completely with the hair, cover the opening with a clean tile, seal it with salt-mixed clay, and completely seal the jar. Dry it in the sun, then surround half the jar with charcoal embers and calcine for the duration of one incense stick. Remove and allow to cool; the resulting ash will form a lump, which should be ground to a very fine powder.

Instructions for Use

Take 2 qian each time, mix with 7 fen of a child’s urine and 3 fen of wine, and take the mixture orally; bleeding will stop immediately. For milder cases, simply blow hair ash into the nostrils to stop the bleeding.
