Formulas Name : Astragalus and Notopterygium Decoction
Chinese Name : 黄耆羌活饮
Drug Formulation
1.5 liang of Astragalus, 1 liang of Notopterygium (stem removed), 1 liang of Dendrobium (root removed), 1 liang of Saposhnikovia (branches removed), 1 liang of Fructus Aurantii (pulp removed, fried with bran), 1 liang of Ginseng,Aconite Root 1 liang (roasted until cracked, with skin and navel removed), Poria 1 liang (black skin removed), Schisandra Berry 1 liang, Achyranthes Root 1 liang (soaked in wine, sliced, and roasted), Dipsacus Root 0.5 liang, Lycium Bark 0.3 fen, Raw Rehmannia Root (sliced and roasted) 2 liang, Oyster Shell (roasted) 1 liang.

Cut the ingredients into pieces the size of sesame seeds or beans.

Instructions for Use
Take 5 qian per dose; boil with 1.5 zhan of water until reduced to 1 zhan; strain out the residue; and drink while warm.
