Reed-Sweet-Stone (calcined, quenched once in Coptis juice and four times in children’s urine) 1 liang; Phellodendron Bark (roasted seven times with pig bile); Sugarcane Peel (burned until charred) 5 qian; Child’s Tea 5 qian; Red Ocher 5 qian; Mung Bean Powder (roasted) 7 fen; Borneol 5 fen.

Instructions for Use

First, fry an egg yolk in sesame oil until blackened, then remove the yolk. Allow it to cool, mix, and apply topically. The condition will be cured immediately. Take the Detoxifying Pills internally.

Note

In treating congenital disorders, this ointment must not be applied until the child is over one year old. Before the age of one, the child’s vital energy is not yet fully developed; if a sudden illness occurs at this stage, it may actually cause harm.
