Drug Formulation

He Shou Wu (equal parts male and female) 6 liang, Tian Nan Xing 2.5 liang (processed with 2.5 liang of fresh ginger), Bai Fu Zi (lightly roasted) 1.5 liang, Huang Dan (roasted) 2 liang.

Processing

In addition to the orpiment mentioned above, grind the remaining ingredients into a fine powder, mix in the orpiment, and combine with 2.5 liang of white flour and vinegar to form a paste, adjusting the consistency until the mixture takes on color. Roll into pills the size of a paulownia seed.

Instructions for Use

Take 60–70 pills per dose, washed down with ginger tea after a meal; warm wine may also be used.
