Drug Formulation

1 set of placenta (roasted and ground into powder), 5 qian of turtle shell (fried with butter) (one formula includes 5 qian of deer antler).

Grind the ingredients into a powder.

Benefits

For smallpox cases characterized by deficiency of both qi and blood, with grayish-white lesions that do not fill with pus or discharge serous fluid.

Instructions for Use

Take 5–7 fen or 1 qian per dose. For qi deficiency, take with Baoyuan Decoction; for blood deficiency, take with a decoction of Chuanxiong, Danggui, and Zicao.
