Drug Formulation

1 fen of Ox Bile, 1 fen of Night-Bright Sand, 1 fen of Licorice (roasted), 1 fen of Euphorbia, 1 fen of Oyster Shell, 1 fen of Pearl, 1 fen of Croton Seed (cleaned, boiled 5–7 times, frosted), 1 fen of Tiger’s Eye, 4 fen of Peony Root, 4 fen of Scutellaria, 4 fen of Apricot Kernel (cleaned).

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder, mix with refined honey to form pills, and seal in a porcelain container.

Benefits

Instructions for Use

Take 3 pills per dose, washed down with a drink; for infants in the crib, take 1 pill the size of a grain of rice. If diarrhea causes weakness, eat steamed buns and 5–6 boiled raw red dates, or have a soup made with scallions and Chinese leeks. Later, when fever subsides, take roasted soft-shelled turtle shell powder, 1 qian per dose, washed down with a drink.
