Drug Formulation

1 dou of mulberry twigs (from the southeast, as thick as a chicken’s egg; finely chopped, placed in a pot with rice vinegar, stir-fried until black while retaining their properties, then ground into powder); 3 sheng of male black beans (stir-fried with rice vinegar until charred while retaining their properties, then ground into powder); 400 chestnuts (burned with their shells on, soaked in rice vinegar, burned again, then soaked in vinegar once more, retaining their properties before being ground into powder); half liang of frankincense (finely ground).

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a powder. Mix with glutinous rice porridge cooked in vinegar and pound with a pestle 1,000 times to form pills the size of a marble. Dry in the shade, away from direct sunlight. Later, coat the pills with fine ink ground with rice vinegar, allow to dry, and place them in a cloth bag to hang in a well-ventilated area.

Instructions for Use

Take 1 pill per dose; decoct it together with frankincense wine until dissolved, then drink while warm. After taking, lie down facing the painful area. Take twice daily. The pain will subside on its own.
