Drug Formulation

Achyranthes root 1 liang (stems removed), Stephania root 3 fen, Peony root 3 fen, Cinnamon bark 3 fen, Antelope horn shavings 1 liang, Angelica root 3 fen (chopped, lightly stir-fried), Red peony root 3 fen, Peach kernels 50 (soaked in hot water; remove skin, tips, and double kernels; stir-fried with bran until slightly yellow), Areca nut 1 liang,1 liang Sichuan rhubarb (coarsely chopped, lightly roasted), 1 liang Sichuan芒消, 3 fen licorice (roasted until slightly reddish, coarsely chopped).

Instructions for Use

The above constitutes a coarse powder. Take 4 qian per dose; decoct in 1 medium bowl of water until reduced to 6 fen; strain; take warm before meals. The efficacy is judged by the expulsion of pathological discharges.
