Drug Formulation

Astragalus (chopped) 2 liang, Ginseng 1 liang, Poria cocos 1 liang (black skin removed), Pueraria root 1 liang (chopped), Magnolia bark (coarse bark removed; rubbed with juice from 2 liang of ginger and slowly roasted until completely charred) 1 liang,Terminalia chebula (roasted, pitted) 1 liang and a half, Aquilaria agallocha half a liang, Glycyrrhiza uralensis (roasted) half a liang, Pinellia ternata 3 fen (washed 7 times with water to remove slipperiness, soaked overnight in the juice of 1 liang and a half of ginger, then stir-fried until dry), Dried ginger (roasted) 1 fen.

Instructions for Use

Take 2 qian bi per dose; add 1 zhan of water, 3 slices of fresh ginger, and 2 jujubes (split open); decoct until reduced to 7 fen; take warm, regardless of whether it is morning or evening.
