Drug Formulation

Ophiopogon tuber (core removed) 2 liang, Prunus mume seeds (skin and tip removed, stir-fried) 2 liang, Rheum officinale (stir-fried) 2 liang, Apricot kernels (skin and tip removed, finely ground) 1 liang, Citrus aurantium peel (pith removed, stir-fried with bran) 1 liang, Fritillaria bulb (processed) 1 liang, fresh Rehmannia root juice 3 he, Arctium lappa root juice 2 he.

Grind the above ingredients into a powder.

Instructions for Use

Combine 4 liang of honey and 2 liang of clarified butter with the two aforementioned juices in a silver pot. Add the powdered herbs, stir until uniform, and simmer over low heat until it forms a paste. Store in a porcelain container. Take 1 teaspoon per dose, mixed with plain congee broth, at any time of day.
