Drug Formulation

7 pieces of Xuanhusuo, 2 qian of Qingdai, and 2 jin of Feiya soap (with the skin removed).

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder, mix with water, and shape into round cakes the size of an apricot kernel.

Instructions for Use

Have the patient lie on their back; dissolve the mixture in water and instill it into the left nostril for men and the right nostril for women. When the patient feels a slight sourness in the throat upon the medicine reaching it, have them sit up and firmly bite down on a copper coin with their front teeth. Saliva will flow out in a basinful, and the patient will be cured.
