Drug Formulation

1 liang Tianxianzi, 2 liang Sichuan pepper (seeds and split pods removed), 4 liang Mu-bie-zi, 5 liang white frankincense (boiled, then ground separately), 3 liang Wulingzhi (preferably aged and black; soak in fine wine, rinse with water to remove impurities, filter through silk, and sun-dry), 6 liang black pharbitis, 8 liang black beans,7 liang of Aconite (select small, firm roots; wash thoroughly; stir-fry with salt in oil until dark yellow; break into pieces and let cool; wipe clean with paper or cloth), and 9 liang of red earth (i.e., earth vermilion).

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder. Combine with white frankincense and powdered Trichosanthes seed. Use high-quality vinegar aged for one year to make a paste, then form into pills the size of a Paulownia seed.
