Benefits
For cases where the hair turns yellow after ingesting realgar, accompanied by fever, toxic heat, and a sensation of heat and oppression in the chest; or for generalized jaundice where the patient must bathe in water continuously throughout the day without respite.
Instructions for Use
Boil the ingredients in 7 sheng of water until reduced to 2.5 sheng; divide into two doses. Recovery typically occurs after one dose. For generalized jaundice where the patient cannot stop drinking water all day, boil the large stems and leaves in a concentrated decoction; adjust the temperature to be neither too hot nor too cold; bathing in this solution is particularly effective.
