Processing
Grasp its hind legs, wrap its head with a large mulberry leaf or oiled paper, and use a single iron nail to scrape the white fluid from between its eyebrows, splashing it onto the leaf. Once it solidifies like wet starch, roll it into pills the size of mung beans and hang them in a breezy place to air-dry.

Instructions for Use
For those suffering from a carbuncle, place 1–2 pills on the tip of the tongue, lie on your back for a short while until a bitter liquid fills your mouth, then swallow it. Alternatively, use a beryllium needle to pierce the head of the carbuncle, insert one pill into the cavity, and cover it with thin rice paper to prevent the medicine from falling out.
