Chinese Name : 泻肾玄参散
Drug Formulation
Scrophularia root 1 liang, red Poria 1 liang, Scutellaria root 1 liang, Alisma 1 liang, Sichuan Cimicifuga 1 liang, Sichuan magnesium sulfate 1 liang, magnetite 2 liang (crushed and rinsed with water to remove the red liquid), antelope horn shavings 1 liang, red peony root 1 liang,1 liang of Apricot Kernels (soaked in hot water, with skin, tip, and double kernels removed, then stir-fried with wheat bran until slightly yellow), 1 liang of Licorice (lightly roasted until reddish, then coarsely chopped).

Grind the above ingredients into a powder.

Instructions for Use
Take half a liang per dose. Add one and a half large bowls of water, half a liang of fresh Rehmannia root juice, and 14 pieces of bamboo leaves; decoct until reduced to eight-tenths of the original volume, strain, and take in two warm doses before meals.
