Drug Formulation
White Chou (yellow variety) 2 liang (shell removed, ground extremely fine to a powder), Rhubarb 2 liang, Sichuan Coptis 3 qian, Realgar 2 liang, Bile Star 5 qian, Shenqu 5 qian, Black Chou (black variety) 2 liang (shell removed, ground extremely fine to a powder),Toad (extra-large) 1 whole (must be yellow; place it in a silver pot, cover with an oil lamp shade, secure with iron wire, and calcine over a charcoal fire until black smoke is emitted; stop when yellow smoke appears. Set it on the ground to cool completely and remove the fire toxicity. Split it open—if it is jet-black, it is of good quality; if small, use two whole toads. Calcine at noon on the 5th day of the 5th lunar month), Indigo Powder 1 liang,Gypsum 1 liang, Talc 1 liang, Coptis 3 qian, Shenqu 5 qian.

Instructions for Use
