Drug Formulation

Perilla seeds: 4 liang (remove the shells to obtain the kernels; press between sheets of paper to remove all oil until they no longer cause pain when applied to the eye; retain only 5 qian for use in the following formula); bear bile: 5 fen; pearl: 3 fen (boiled in tofu, ground extremely fine until it produces no sound); frankincense (oil removed): 3 fen; myrrh (oil removed): 3 fen; southern borax: 5 fen; musk: 5 li; borneol: 1 qian.
